Why do teeth experience orthodontic relapse?

Answer: Did you forget to wear your retainer? Did you lose it, or did it break? The primary cause of orthodontic relapse is lack of retainer wear. There are some studies quoted by the Realine people indicating that 90% of all orthodontic cases will relapse. (Dr. Meyer says "Be suspect of the conflict of interest in that statistic.")

If your teeth have experienced orthodontic relapse, Realine may help you re-achieve the results you had when your teeth were straight. But you are still going to have to wear a retainer after Realine too!
