Which toothpaste should I buy?
It doesn't matter which toothpaste you buy, as long as you use it. Quite frankly, it is the scrubbing motion of the toothbrush bristles that is really doing the job for you, in terms of plaque removal. Dr. Meyer prefers you use a toothpaste that has fluoride. All the wonderful ad campaigns you'll see on TV about whitening and tartar control and etc etc etc make for interesting 30 second commercials. The commercials all flash the "small print" just long enough to keep the company out of legal trouble. The ads say things like "Visit your dentist and hygienist regularly" and "Only a trained dental professional can make a proper diagnosis." So visit your dentist and hygienist regularly, because only a trained dental professional can make a proper diagnosis!
