Why is my tooth sensitive to hot or cold?
Pain from any one tooth due to temperature variations often indicates a cavity getting close to the nerve of your tooth. You may still be able to have that tooth fixed with a filling. If you wait too long, the nerve can become irreparably damaged, and you could end up with serious pain. Don't wait too long before you see your dentist! X-rays will probably be necessary for a proper diagnosis. Did that answer your question? If not, let's try again!
